Treatment protocols
Wendover Medispa offer a range of protocols made up of combinations of treatments to target specific areas of concern. For further details on individual treatments please see our treatments page.
Medical suitability for each treatment will be assessed during a consultation with Dr Lorna prior to treatment.
Ageing skin can become dull, sagging and wrinkled due to slowing collagen production, sun damage, reduced muscle tone and loss of fat pads below the surface of the skin.
Following a regular skincare regime and using sunscreen can help to protect the skin and slow the ageing process. However, sometimes the skin needs an extra boost to regain a glowing complexion whilst having a firming and toning effect.
The skin boost protocol offers a combination of treatments to improve hydration and boost collagen production. The treatments are administered over two separate appointments two weeks apart.
Each treatment will administer a Jalupro® HMW and a Jalupro® Young Eye skin booster followed by a Jalupro® face mask.
The Jalupro® HMW is administered to the skin across the face and can be used to improve skin texture, minimize fine lines and improve the appearance of scarring.
The Jalupro® Young Eye is administered to the skin around the eye area and contains a combination of amino acids for collagen stimulation, bi-density hyaluronic acid for hydration without puffiness and peptides for fibroblast activation, collagen protection and for a muscle relaxing effect.
The Jalupro® face mask is a biocellulose mask and is applied after the injectable treatments. The hyaluronic acid and aloe vera contained in the mask are absorbed into the skin to leave it smoothed, hydrated and radiant.
Two Jalupro® HMW, two Jalupro® Young Eye and two Jalupro® face masks: £700
Lip plump protocol
As we get older collagen production slows and, as a result, our lips lose their fullness and begin to thin. Having fuller plumper lips can enhance the face and give a more youthful appearance.
Following a good skincare regime can help to slow the ageing effects and certain combinations of treatments can be used to give the lips a boost.
The lip boost protocol involves two treatments that are administered in two separate treatments spaced at least two weeks apart. In the first treatment botulinum toxin injections are given into the muscle at the top of the lip to "flip" the upper lip up and create the effect of a fuller upper lip.
The second treatment will then further plump the lips with either 0.5ml or 1ml of filler to naturally enhance the shape of the lip and add fullness.
0.5ml filler and lip flip: £350
1ml filler and lip flip: £400
The area around the mouth is a highly mobile area of the face and can begin to show the signs of ageing at an early stage. As ageing occurs the skin loses elasticity and wrinkles and sagging skin can become obvious.
The perioral rejuvenation protocol is a combination of treatments designed to target the appearance of ageing around the mouth area. These treatments are administered over three separate appointments.
In the first appointment Jalupro® HMW skin booster and anti-wrinkle injections will be administered to the skin around the mouth. The Jalupro® HMW will improve hydration and boost collagen production whilst anti-wrinkle injections will relax the muscle therefore allowing the overlying skin smooth out.
The second appointment will take place three weeks later. The effectiveness of the anti-wrinkle injections will be reviewed and topped up if required and the second Jalupro® HMW will be administered.
The final appointment will be three weeks later and 1ml of filler will be used to plump out the wrinkles and fine lines around the mouth.
Two Jalupro® HMW, anti-wrinkle injections and 1ml filler: £800
Facial refresh protocol
Give yourself a facial refresh with a combination of lower face filler and upper face anti-wrinkle injections.
This is one of the most popular combinations of treatments with patients, to benefit from the anti-ageing effects of the anti-wrinkle injections combined with the shaping and contouring that can be achieved with dermal fillers.
This protocol offers great value for patients wanting these treatments at the same time in a single appointment.
0.5ml filler and one area anti-wrinkle: £400
0.5ml filler and two areas anti-wrinkle: £450
0.5ml filler and three areas anti-wrinkle: £500
1ml filler and one area anti-wrinkle: £450
1ml filler and two areas anti-wrinkle: £500
1ml filler and three areas anti-wrinkle: £550
Eye enhance protocol
The skin around the eyes tends to show the effects of ageing earlier than other areas due to the skin in this area being very thin and the periocular fat pad disappearing early in the ageing process. This can lead to visible lines and wrinkles, dark circles and puffiness.
The eye enhance protocol is a combination of treatments that work together to reduce the signs of ageing around the eye area. These treatments are administered in three separate appointments spaced around two weeks apart.
A Jalupro® skin booster will be injected into the skin around the eye area during the first appointment to boost hydration of the skin and encourage increased collagen production. This treatment can improve skin texture, minimize fine lines, improve dark circles around the eyes and improve the appearance of scarring. Botulinum toxin injections will also be given to the crow's feet lines at the side of the eyes to relax the muscle in this area and encourage the overlying skin to smooth out therefore reducing visible wrinkles. Additional botulinum toxin injections will be given above the eyebrows to give an eyebrow lift, therefore opening up the eye area.
In the second appointment a further Jalupro® skin booster treatment will be given. The effects of the botulinum toxin injections will also be reviewed and will be topped up as necessary to achieve the desired results.
In the third appointment the final Jalupro® skin booster treatment will be given.
Three Jalupro® treatments, anti-wrinkle injections to crow's feet, eyebrow lift: £650
Neck lifting protocol
Whilst the face is often given attention as part of a skincare regime the neck can sometimes be neglected, so we should remember to include the skin in this area in our routine. For some people the neck can age quickly but cannot be treated as easily as the face with anti-wrinkle injections and fillers.
The neck lifting protocol is a combination of treatments aimed at improving the appearance of the skin and the contour of the neck area. These treatments are administered over three separate appointments.
In the first appointment a neck lift treatment will be given, which is sometimes known as a "Nefertiti neck lift". This involves botulinum toxin injections into the platysma muscle, which is the powerful muscle that runs down the front and sides of the neck. The aim of the treatment is to reduce the pull of this muscle and the downward dragging effect it has on the jawline and lower face. The desired results are a smoother neck contour, reduced sagging of the lower face and an improved jaw shape.
The second appointment will take place two weeks later and the first Jalupro® HMW skin booster will be administered to the skin across the neck. The Jalupro® HMW will improve hydration and boost collagen production and can be used to improve skin texture and minimize fine lines.
The third appointment will take place two to three weeks later and the second Jalupro® HMW treatment will be administered.
Two Jalupro® HMW, and neck lift: £700
